Cyber Sports Network is proud to partner with Raptor Gaming to present our newest Starcraft 2 event, $1000 After the Clash 2!


After the Clash 2 will be a continuation of the first event, celebrating the success of Cyber Sports Network's Clash of the houses. A 128 player open qualifier event qualifies its top 8 finishers into a 16 man playoff against top finishers from the previous event for a $1000 prize pool plus swag from Cyber Sports Network and Raptor Gaming. The qualifier event is this weekend on June 18th and June 19th.

2nd Place: $200.00 + swag
3rd Place: $150.00 + swag
4th Place: $100.00
5-6th place: $50
7-8th place: $25

Format

Single elimination 128 player qualifier bracket, best of 3 until semifinals.
Players will be seeded based on previous tournament results and other recent tournaments by admins.
Top 8 players from the qualifier will play 8 top players from the previous event on July 17th.
Each round will have a designated starting map. Loser of first map will pick map two.

When and Where

Registration begins on June 13 2011 8:00 pm EDT.
Registration ends on June 18 2011 1:00 pm EDT.
Day 1 matches begin promptly on June 18 2011 3:00 pm EDT.
Day 2 matches begin promptly on June 19 2011 5:00 pm EDT.
Playoffs will be July 12 2011 7:00 pm EDT.
Check in begins one hour prior to event start. Players must be online no less than 20 minutes before the event begins (30 minutes early encouraged).
Check in clicking the Check In button on the right hand column once check in time begins.

All matches will be played on the US server.

Register an account on the Cyber Sports Network Website.
Add your Battle.net ID and ID # to youraccount profile (REQUIRED). Go to edit profile, then scroll down to the game id's section just above the avatar section and input your Battle.net id.

Rules

1. All entrants must check in within the hour before the tournament begins.
2. All competitors must have Battle.net Name and ID # in their profile when signing up.
3. If requested to wait for casters before starting the next round, you must hold off playing until the match can be cast. Games played without casters after being requested to wait must be replayed.
4. Entrants must be available for the tournament, up to 4-5 hours for each day of the tournament.
5. No observers other than official tournament admins and casters are allowed.
6. Each round of the tournament will have a starting map. Loser's pick out of the map pool for all subsequent games.
7. Each round until semifinals are best of 3 format. Semifinals and finals are best of 5.
8. Wins must be reported to an admin immediately (through quakenet #cybersportsnet or aftertheclash channel on Bnet).
9. Players can be disqualified by admin decision if an opponent has to wait more than 30 minutes to play, assuming the player is not in a previous round. Contact an admin as soon as possible if extenuating circumstances occur.
10. Players are not allowed to stream when playing in the tournament.
11. Players must be set to "busy" status when in official tournament games.
