Finals will be played at the CSN Booth.
To Create and Register a Team:
1. At the 'Home' Page in upper right, choose 'Register Team'
2. Choose 'Create New Team" - Team Captains are asked to create the teams [Game: Tribes: Ascend Qcon
3. Fill out required information. Teams are strongly encouraged to include a professional looking graphic as their team logo for use during casting/streaming.
4. Create a Team Password and give it out to only players on your team!
5. Have your teammates 'Join Existing Team', using the password that you supplied them to join.
6. Go to Event Page and if your team has the required roster size, you will be able to JOIN EVENT.
GENERAL RULES AND SUGGESTIONS FOR ALL BYOC EVENTS:
1. Participants MUST use the Match Communication System to contact their opponents and look for ROOM information from the Administration
2. Use the specific EVENT or FORUM Thread for communicating issues or contacting Administration. You may also visit the CSN Booth and ask for an Admin.
3. Winning player must report scores on the site. If you are not sure how to report scores please ask an admin at the CSN booth.
4. Be Patient! This is a BYOC and things can get kind of hairy at times, we ask that you are patient with all of the events!

No-Shows
Teams have up to 15 minutes after the scheduled match time to show up for their match. After this point has been reached, teams may either play shorthanded or forfeit the first map. If the match still has not started, maps will continue to be forfeited every 5 minutes after the no-show.
Map Selection
The maps selection process will vary depending on the map pool and number of maps to be played for each match. The higher seed (#1 seed is higher than a #2 seed) will always start the map selection process. Map selection alternates between each seed.
Map Selection for Best of Three Matches
Drop, Drop, Pick, Pick. Remaining map will be used for the 3rd map if needed.
Map Selection for Best of Five Matches
Pick, Pick, Pick, Pick. Remaining map will be used for the 5th map if needed.
The lower seed will have side choice for the first, third, and fifth maps.
Ties and Overtime
In the event of a tie at the end of overtime (Stalemate), both teams are awarded a win.
A match cannot end in a tie.
Tournament and Match Schedules
All match times are subject to change. Matches may be delayed for administrative purposes. Teams may also be asked to have their match start times delayed to allow access to the game by Casters for streaming purposes. If your team is expected to be scheduled to be cast during the event, you will be notified and asked to not start the game until the casters are present and invited to the game. If your game has been scheduled to be casted and you start the game before casters are present then your team may face disciplinary actions as decided by a CSN Event Administrator.
Observers
Aside from players, tournament admins, and commentators, no other players will be allowed in game.
Aliases and Player Accounts
All players are responsible for and expected to use their own Tribes:Ascend accounts. Players are forbidden from using an account that does not belong to them. In the event that a player is found to be using an account that does not belong to them, the offending player will be removed from the event. The offending player’s team may also face disciplinary action up to and including disqualification from the event. If a player’s account is banned by Hi-Rez during a CSN event then that player will no longer be eligible to play in the CSN event unless he/she has that ban removed by Hi-Rez. All aliasing rule violations will be handled by a CSN Event Administrator on an individual case by case basis.
All player must provide their Tribes:Ascend name in their CSN profiles on the CSN website.
Substitutions
Teams may substitute players during rounds where there is more than one game, I.E. Best of 3 series or Best of 5 series. The substitution must occur after the first game has concluded and before the start of the next game. Only players on the active roster for the event are eligible for substitution. If a player was not on your roster before the event started then they are not eligible to play.
Player Conduct
All teams and players are prohibited from using the chat console during the game to excessively harass or abuse the opposing team. Harassment includes but is not limited to racism, excessive taunting, and spamming. CSN recognizes that some taunting and competitive banter is part of competition; however, excessive abuse will result in disciplinary action from CSN Event Administrators
Fair Play Rule
Participants are expected to play at their full capacity at all times. Deliberately losing will not be tolerated and will result in disqualification.
