Cyber-Sports Network, LLC is pleased to announce the opening of registration for the “CM Storm CoD 4 Summer Shootout”.
THIS EVENT IS COMPLETELY FREE TO SIGN UP FOR!!!
All registered teams will be able to reserve high quality performance servers for their matches, courtesy of EOREALITY for absolutely no charge. However there will be a limited number of servers every week that we can lend out so it will be on a first come first serve basis. So if your team needs a server for the week or the 2 teams can’t agree upon one, please find out quickly so you can reserve one.
Registration for the CSN “CM Storm CoD 4 Summer Shootout” opens on Wednesday, July 21st and will remain open until Wednesday, August 11th.
How To Register:
All players will need to register a personal CSN user account to participate in the event. If you do not already have one, click "Join CSN" at the top right of the web page and fill out all necessary fields. In order to complete the registration you will have to activate your account by clicking the link sent to your personal email that you entered during the registration process. Once you click the email link you will want to IMMEDIATELY change your password to what you desire, in which you will be able to log in to the website with from then on.
Team Registration:
Once you are logged in the main site, move your mouse over the “My Teams” button in the main site banner. In the menu, select “Create Team” at the bottom. Enter the appropriate information about your new team including your team's join password. This is the password you need to give your teammate's to allow them to join your team.
Team Players:
In order to join a roster, simply click “My teams” in the user profile option located on the top right of the web page. From here you will select what game your team is competing in; a drop down box will appear and then find your team and type in the password that your team captain set.
Event Details:
The tournament will begin on August 18th and run for approximately 1- 1 ½ months looking to end before September is over.
Server Mod Requirement: Promod Version 2.06
Game Type: 5v5 Search and Destroy
Number of Teams: 32 MAX (There is a limited number of team slots and it will be the first to sign up will have a reserved spot as long as there is a minimum of 5 Players on the team Roster)
CSN Scout Client:
It will be required that ALL teams and players download and use the “CSN Scout” client in order to participate in any CSN event. For instructions on how to install the client and use it for matches please click the following link.
Prize Packages:
1st : CM Storm-Scout Gaming Case - $90 – x5 – ($450)
2nd : CM Storm-Sentinel Gaming Mouse - $70 –x5 – ($350)
3rd : CM Storm-X Battle Pad $20 – x5 – ($100)
Map Rotation:
Round 1 -mp_strike on Monday August 23rd 9:00 PM EDT
Round 2 - mp_crash on Monday August 30th 9:00 PM EDT
Round 3 - mp_crossfire on Monday September 6th 9:00 PM EDT
Round 4 - mp_citystreets on Monday September 13th 9:00 PM EDT
3rd Place match on mp_backlot on Sunday September 19th 9:00 PM EDIT
Round 5 - mp_backlot on Monday September 20th 9:00 PM EDT
*Teams reserving a server will receive a pm on CSN Scout 15-30 minutes prior to the match regarding server info and password."
*Teams will have until Sunday after default match time to complete the match*
*The losing teams of Round 4 will compete for 3rd place*
*The Quarter Finals and on will be played out of a best of 3 maps format*
*The Quarter Finals and on will also be played on CSN servers, monitored by game officials*
*In a best of 3 series match the first map that will be played is the one designated by CSN from there the looser of that map will be 2nd and if a 3rd is necessary the meaning the series is at 1 map a piece the looser of the 2nd map will be the next.*
*The maps will be chosen from the map pool above an no map may be played twice.*
*CSN Officials will completely run any match if a server is lending out for 2 teams prior to the Semi-Finals; it is the team’s responsibility to reserve a game server 24 hours minimum before the set match date agreed upon by both teams*
*CSN Officials reserve the right to enter any match and observe freely, teams may be asked for server passwords and match times*

NOTE: This tournament will not be setting precedence for any seeding or following events. If event participation goes well CSN will be hosting Season 1 for CoD 4 with all teams playing in open.

Is it to late to sign up? we have almost all our guid's in and a full roster.
