Screenshots
As the day comes near, there are several things I need to confirm.
- ALL Players must screenshot the beginning of each game. If disputed by the opposing team the players must have the screenshot available to show to the Admin. If the player does not have the screenshot available then team will receive a loss and be sent to the Losers Bracket. If the team is already in the Losers Bracket then they will be eliminated from the event.
- Take screenshots of any violations and report them to an admin immediately.
- If at any point in time an administrator demands that you take a screenshot the gamer must comply with the administrators orders. Failure to do so will lead to penalty/disqualification.
- Teams must report the match results accurately via the website.
Q: Where should we post the screenies??
take screenshot using
take screenshot using xfire..
and if possible i ll live streaming.. for some people to watch it..
is that ok?

So we are taking a screenshot at the beginning of games. Does the scoreboard need to be up? You're going to need to be specific. It's fine by me, but there's going to be plenty of teams that don't do it, and most will dispute the game if they lose because of that fact. I'm more concerned with the aspect that it's going to take up a shit ton of unnecessary time, and what does it accomplish?
Like Vertex said in a different topic, the only way you're going to prevent cheating is with a well programmed AC, a screenshot won't help anything. It won't catch people using more than 110hp either. It would take 10 seconds to edit a different amount of HP into a screenshot. The only way that we'll catch people with over 110hp is by inspecting them before or after the game. Everybody taking a screenshot really won't accomplish anything other than waste time and DQ teams.

agreed. The only purpose i can think of from that sentences is to prevent WH, and max Hp abuse?
Well overall the tourney is going alright on this stage,I have to agree that community does help.
Not even that, you could take a random screenshot that you took 2 weeks ago in pub with 5 people on your team and post it. I'm positive that all cheats can be toggled, nobody would take a screenshot with chams on. The beginning of game screenshot really provides nothing, the only screenshot that should matter is one of the final scoreboard. Taking a measly screenshot doesn't prevent cheating or anything, it just adds confusion and wastes time.
press tab ( score board ) and screenshot..
Exactly, think about what you just said. Do you know how few people are going to do that? Let alone how many full teams are going to have 5 players that take the appropriate screenshot? And it's been stated that if you don't take this screenshot, your team takes a loss automatically. Any logical captain is going to dispute EVERY single game that their team loses, and they will do it because of the fact that, in most cases, it's likely that the other team won't have 5 perfect screenshots.
Think i ll just follow the rules..

There will likely be a forum.
There will likely be a forum. And the first rule should be changed, because it's pointless and going to cause chaos.
