Combat Arms 5v5 SND Placement Tournament

Cyber-Sports Network, LLC is pleased to announce the opening of registration for the "Combat Arms 5v5 SND Placement Tournament"

Default match Date & Time will be Saturday at 10pm EST

This Tournament will decide which teams move to "Select Division" and which teams remain in "Open Division"

THIS EVENT IS COMPLETELY FREE TO SIGN UP FOR!!!

Registration for the CSN “Combat Arms Placement Tournament” opens on Sunday, August 29th and will remain open until Tuesday, September 7th.


How To Register:

All players will need to register a personal CSN user account to participate in the event. If you do not already have one, click "Join CSN" at the top right of the webpage and fill out all necessary fields. In order to complete the registration you will have to activate your account by clicking the link sent to your personal email that you entered during the registration process. Once you click the email link you will want to IMMEDIATELY change your password to what you desire, in which you will be able to login to the website with from then on.

Team Registration:

Once you are logged in the main site, move your mouse over the “My Teams” button in the main site banner. In the menu, select “Create Team” at the bottom. Enter the appropriate information about your new team including your team's join password. This is the password you need to give your teammate's to allow them to join your team.

Team Players:

In order to join a roster, simply click “My teams” in the user profile option located on the top right of the web page. From here you will select what game your team is competing in; a drop down box will appear and then find your team and type in the password that your team captain set.



Event Details:

The tournament will begin on September 10th and run for approximately 1- 1 ½ months, looking to end before October is over.

Team Size: 5v5

Number of Teams: 32 MAX (There is a limited number of team slots and it will be the first to sign up will have a reserved spot as long as there is a minimum of 5 Players on the team Roster, If the community shows enough interest, we will expand to 64 teams)

CSN Scout Client:

It will be required that all teams and players download and use the “CSN Scout” client in order to participate in any CSN event. For instructions on how to install the client and use it for matches please click the following link.

Map Rotation:

Round 1 - Sandhog
Round 2 - Greyhammer
Round 3 - Snowvalley
Round 4 - Sandhog
Round 5 - BO3 Rattlesnake,Short Fuse (Tie Breaker - Warhead)
Round 6 - BO3 Each team will select a map, (Tie Breaker, each team will eliminate one map until there is a single map left which
they will play on, Warhead, Rattlesnake, Snow Valley, Grey Hammer, Sandhog)


*The losing teams of Round 4 will compete for 3rd place*

*The Semi-Finals and on will be played out of a best of 3 maps format*

*CSN Officials reserve the right to enter any match and observe freely, teams may be asked for room passwords and match information*

*Placement of this tournament will be used to determine Open and Select divisions once leagues start
