HoN Opening Tournament Rules

HoN 5v5 Opening Tournament Rules:

*ALL HEROES ARE ELIGIBLE FOR PLAY IN THIS TOURNAMENT*

GAME MODE: BANNING PICK

Best of 3 Single Elimination

ALL PLAYERS MUST also use the match system on CSN in order to agree upon a time to play. Simply click “my events” once you are logged in and select the appropriate match link and from there you can either accept default time or propose a new time. Each player will only be able to propose 1 new time. It is strongly encouraged for players to contact their opponents outside of the CSN match system to agree upon a time to play. Players can simply PM their opponents on CSN and talk through them to figure out what time would be best for both players.

CSN will revert back to the agreed upon time in the match system if any disputes are to occur. Also we will be using this to schedule casting for certain matches for the communities to watch.

*A CSN Admin will PM both you and your opponent and organize a time to play.

The losing teams in the Semi Finals will play for 3rd place.

*CSN Officials reserve the right to enter any match and observe freely, teams may
be asked for server passwords and match times*

Remember to be respectful to other players and officials at all times. Sportsmanship and common courtesy must always be upheld. smack-downs are encouraged, smack talk is frowned upon.

Remember to speak English when dealing with players/officials that are unfamiliar with your native language.

Game Rules:
-Teams can choose whether or not Tournament Mode is used, an agreement must be made by both teams.

-All matches must be played by deadlines at a time agreed upon by both teams. If your team cannot field a full 5 people for the game you may use Ringers (They must be registered with the CSN) if the opposing team has no problem with it. In the case that they do not want ringers to be allowed the team must either forfeit, or attempt to reschedule a game time before the deadline.

-Entering the oppositions base without a creep wave is NOT allowed (You must enter opponents base with creep support).

-Do not block creeps with Behemoth's fissure stun at the base.

-Refrain from any sort of glitch (Out of the map, Kongor glitches, bugs)

-Do not share items for a long period of time(i.e using someone's bottle/ health potion/mana potion/ runes is allowed, giving someone your bottle is not allowed).
