All registered teams will be able to reserve high quality performance servers for their matches, courtesy of EOREALITY for absolutely no charge. However there will be a limited number of servers every week that we can lend out so it will be on a first come first serve basis. So if your team needs a server for the week or the 2 teams can’t agree upon one, please find out quickly so you can reserve one.
Registration for the CSN “HoN Opening Tournament” opens on Wednesday, July 21st and will remain open until Friday, August 13th.
How To Register:
All players will need to register a personal CSN user account to participate in the event. If you do not already have one, click "Join CSN" at the top right of the webpage and fill out all necessary fields. In order to complete the registration you will have to activate your account by clicking the link sent to your personal email that you entered during the registration process. Once you click the email link you will want to IMMEDIATELY change your password to what you desire, in which you will be able to login to the website with from then on.
Team Registration:
Once you are logged in the main site, move your mouse over the “My Teams” button in the main site banner. In the menu, select “Create Team” at the bottom. Enter the appropriate information about your new team including your team's join password. This is the password you need to give your teammate's to allow them to join your team.
Team Players:
In order to join a roster, simply click “My teams” in the user profile option located on the top right of the webpage. From here you will select what game your team is competing in; a drop down box will appear and then find your team and type in the password that your team captain set.
Event Details:
The tournament will begin on August 11th and run for approximately 1- 1 ½ months looking to end before September is over.
Game Type: 5v5 Banning Pick Single Elimination
Number of Teams: 32 MAX (There is a limited number of team slots and it will be the first to sign up will have a reserved spot as long as there is a minimum of 5 Players on the team Roster)

However, we do strongly urge to download the client and use it to find scrimmages for practicing. This issue was caused by an incomplete cleanup after team deletion and has been resolved. Your players should now be able to register for this event. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for notifying us of the problem.

When they go onto the events page it just says "Player Status : Not registered" and there is no option to register, they've tried going through My Teams and Events and signing up there but it doesn't appear to be doing anything.

Hey I am representing clan Woah. We played our opponents WOTB last night and apparently we thought it was just 1 game, not best of 3. So we are going to play your 2nd game tonight. SO this is more or less why our results are weird. I will try to get in contact with an admin after we play because I don't think I can record a new score now. If there is something else I should do let me know. I tried to message Jorge on the forums about this issue, but I am having account problems and I am unable to access that Pm for a while.

You can add new members to your team whenever you want, and just follow the directions on how to change your match date in the rules tab here. http://cyber-sports.net/node/65
After contacting your opponent go into My Events->The Match Link-> and then propose a new time which is the time you've agreed upon.
I didn't decide the default match time, just make sure to get it changed ASAP.
I'll be contacting all the teams as soon as I get a chance I'm a little wrapped up right now.

That's a fantastic idea actually, thank you for suggesting it now. Getting to work getting the 4 teams we need, since KD-Gaming has disbanded we need to fill their spot as well. If any teams were unable to participate for whatever reason and are now able to compete would you please send me a message and we'll see to getting a spot. I'm about to contact the teams who have already asked for a spot, but it is on a first come first serve basis!
Edit: It turns out that most of the teams are based in Europe. So doing that is kind of a waste of time :P I'll try to match up the North American Teams together as best as I can.

Jesse, why not get locations from as many teams as possible.
Then you can split the start brackets after EU/USE/SEA etc? :)
That means that EU / USE will meet up at the end of the bracket and do one game on each server,
roll for last one? Think this was the way Honcast did in their tournament as well.

I'll be posting brackets and all of that information as soon as we fill our team slots, which is what I plan on doing today. As soon as I have a full 32 teams ready to go our brackets will come immediately after, and I'll give the entire run down.
To put it very informally you are going to be given a period of 2-4 days a round to play your game(s). When the brackets are posted I will be sending messages to all of the teams to decide on dates/times and servers. If there is a conflict between what server is going to be used if a European team is matched up against a North American team and it can't be resolved the servers will default to USE because it's as close to a medium as we can get. If teams cannot settle on a time and date to play their games, I will pick a time and date within the bracket.
Sorry guys for not having the stuff up right now, we've had some trouble getting teams to get in gear.

Daggius - We would make the bracket bigger if there were more teams interested, but there are not. All pending teams have until the 6th to fully register their teams to the event to be eligible to play. I'm sending messages to all of those teams, and if by the sixth they are not fully registered we will open up the event for teams to fill their spots. As soon as we deal with that brackets will be posted and then if more teams have to drop out because of scheduling we will substitute teams again.
We have to give fair opportunity to all teams because there is no seeding, this is an open tournament. I will absolutely let you and other teams know if there are spots available.
I'll post the team list here in case they check here before checking their messages.

can u add us late when other team drop out. about 10 of those teams that joined iwll get forfeit losses anyways for not showing to their games

Should there be any teams that decided to drop off the tournament for any other reason, please help signing us up/save that slot for us if it's possible. Our team name is expecting the unexpected [eXu].

Boolbasor - I'm sorry but if you didn't register for the tournament there isn't much we can do. It's stated fairly clearly in the tournament info that you need to register your team for the tournament after actually registering your team to the site.This system is in place so if we have multiple tournaments going on your team can sign up for whatever event they choose. I apologize for the circumstances, if a team has to drop out for scheduling reasons I will be sure to post an announcement so that teams wanting to get in will have an opportunity.
On that topic, teams on the Pending List please make sure that the rest of your team mates accept the event no later than the 6th. I'll post this again on the HoN forums, and everywhere else. They all need to accept the tournament for stat tracking purposes, so please get them to take the minute to register.
The brackets will be posted a few days before the tournament begins. When they are posted you will know who your opponent is, and I will be arranging the times for the matches with all of you before hand. More info will be given on that as soon as the brackets are ready to go.
This is looking to be a great tournament, and good luck to everyone involved!

This is pretty ridiculous. My team has registered when there was still 8 slots left, but we're not yet in the tournament because we didn't do the Join tournament thing (we thought just by registering it would register us for the tournament automatically). Is there anything we can do now?

nifoc- Check out our tutorial video, Vansilli shows the entire process of accepting events at around 5 minutes to see how to register for the tournament. Essentially each of your individual team members need to go into the events tab and register for the tournament. Their names will be listed under your team after hitting register.
